About the Author
Alexandra Daini is an artist, author, and illustrator of children’s books. Born in Venezuela into a family of artists, she studied graphic design in Italy and has worked across multiple artistic mediums throughout her life.
Growing up in Venezuela, her stories are shaped by a sense of magical realism, where imagination and everyday life quietly blend together. Having made her home in the United States for the past 40 years, where she has worked as an artist, she now creates stories that reflect both the calm and lively moments of childhood—from the gentle world of The Magic Tent Series to the playful “No Nap” books.

Alexandra Daini es artista, autora e ilustradora de libros infantiles. Nacida en Venezuela en una familia de artistas, estudió diseño gráfico en Italia y ha trabajado a lo largo de su vida en diversos medios artísticos.
Al crecer en Venezuela, sus historias están influenciadas por un sentido de realismo mágico, donde la imaginación y la vida cotidiana se entrelazan de manera natural. Tras hacer de los Estados Unidos su hogar durante los últimos 40 años, donde ha desarrollado su trabajo artístico, crea historias que reflejan tanto los momentos tranquilos como los más activos de la infancia, desde el mundo suave y exploratorio de The Magic Tent Series hasta la energía lúdica de los libros de “No Nap”.
